LOUISVILLE, KY (February 17, 2014) – Jimmy Owens has been promoted to Category Manager For Craft Spirits at Saxco International, LLC, it was announced here today by Larry Coomes, Director of Midwest Sales for Saxco International.
In his new role, Owens will be directly responsible for providing resources and support for the expansion of rigid packaging services for the craft spirits category. In addition, he will retain his duties as New Product Development Representative providing innovative packaging services from conception to finished design for the wine and spirits category.
Owens has been employed in various management capacities by Saxco International for the past 17 years, moving up from Logistics Manager to Project Manager and then to New Product Development Representative. Before joining Saxco, he was a supervisor and administrator for United Parcel Service for 13 years.
He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, located in Lexington, where he received his bachelor’s of science degree in business administration. He is a resident of Frankfort, Kentucky.
