Mirbeau Inn & Spa announces Wine Dinner Series to celebrate the coming seasons

Mirbeau InnSKANEATELES, N.Y. – April 1, 2015 – Mirbeau Inn & Spa is set to delight its guests with an upcoming series of wine-paired dinners meant to celebrate the joys of spring and summer. Each dinner is granted with a special theme meant to entice wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike, and will feature a five-course menu designed to further enhance the wines.

For a more intimate gathering, the dinners will take place in Mirbeau’s Provence private dining room, with seating beginning at 6 p.m. The events are $95 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 877-MIRBEAU (647-2328.)

Mumm’s the Word: Champagne Wine Dinner

Mirbeau Inn & Spa will debut the dinner series in grand style, welcoming the world-renowned sparkling wine producer, G.H. Mumm, and showcasing the best in bubbly. This producer’s outstanding portfolio, which extends from the old world to the new world, features Champagne Grand Crus and handcrafted Napa Valley classics. To highlight the crisp wines, the menu will include a selection of Hors d’Oeuvres, House Made Duck Ham with Mixed Green Salad, Potato Leek Soup with Pan Seared Scallop, Roasted Poussin with Dauphinoise Potatoes and Apple Tarte Tatin. Among the tasted wines, guests will find premium cuvées such as G.H. Mumm’s Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru and G.H. Mumm’s Napa Brut Prestige.

Eagerly Awaiting Summer: Provence & Rosé Wine Dinner

Mirbeau Inn & Spa will celebrate the coming of summer by paying a tribute to Rosé and Southern France. This wine paired dinner will transport guests to the historic altitudes of the Rhone Valley, and all the way to down to the sun-drenched Mediterranean coast of Provence. Among the paired courses showcasing farm-fresh Mediterranean fare, guests will enjoy Hors d’Oeuvres, Tuna Nicoise Salad, Tomato Petit Farcis, Pork Tenderloin Provencal with Sauteed Swiss Chard and Strawaberry Sorbet with Calissons d’Aix.
