“Lord Snort” to Be Unveiled at Soda Rock Winery November 10th

November 7, 2016Geyserville, CA–Ken Wilson has purchased a second sculpture created by local artist, Bryan Tedrick. Tedrick’s 20,000 pound, 32 ft. wide, 20 ft. tall boar sculpture, fabricated in steel, will be installed at Healdsburg’s Soda Rock Winery in the Alexander Valley. Installation takes place this Wednesday, November 9, and the sculpture will be officially unveiled Thursday, November 10, from 3PM – 6PM.

“Lord Snort” made his debut at this year’s Burning Man Festival, and has been on display on Sonoma’s Sculpture Trail in Geyserville since its return. This is the second Tedrick piece to grace a Wilson Artisan Winery, the first being the Coyote sculpture which debuted at the 2013 Burning Man Festival who now finds his home at Wilson Winery in Dry Creek Valley.

The artist, Glen Ellen’s Bryan Tedrick, will be joining the unveiling event this Thursday evening and is pleased “Lord Snort” will be making his home once again at a Wilson property, “It’s wonderful to be able to do what I love to do and have other people appreciate it—thanks Ken Wilson!” Thursday evening’s unveiling party is open to the public from 3PM to 6PM at Soda Rock Winery, located at 8015 CA-128 in Healdsburg.
