TIPO, one of California’s most Iconic and Historic Wine Brands has come back to life. TIPO was originally established in 1906 and was considered “America’s Greatest Wine” both before and after Prohibition. TIPO was a popular brand for over seven decades.

Now it is being reintroduced by STAMA WINERY in Lodi, California. STAMA is located at 17521 N. Davis Road in Lodi, California.

The wines are being produced by Franck Lambert, the former Winemaker for Michael-David Winery, famous for their “7 Deadly Zins” wine. Franck is an esteemed Winemaker born and raised in France.

The label design, based on the original 1906 TIPO label has been updated and modernized by Ricardo Kanakaris, a 35 year wine industry veteran, host and co-producer of the web show WINE NATION TV and former owner of PAVONA WINES in Monterey, California.

STAMA WINERY was established in 2003 and grows 200 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. Their Tasting Room is located at 17521 N. Davis Road and is open from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. Daily.
