BENTON CITY, Wash. (April 4, 2017) – Dylan Walker has joined the sales team at Hedges Family Estate in Washington State to support North American sales initiatives, the winery announced today.
Walker will have a particular focus on Midwest and East Coast markets as well as other sales responsibilities in domestic and international markets for the 80,000-case winery, said Hedges co-founder Tom Hedges.
“Dylan is a great addition to our team at Hedges,” said Hedges, who co-founded Hedges Family Estate in 1987 with his wife Anne-Marie. “In addition to great energy and charisma, Dylan has deep connections in some key Midwest markets where we do very well. Perhaps most importantly, he’s a true believer in the magic of Red Mountain.”
Walker has nearly 10 years of national sales and account management in the wine industry. He spent three years as a sales representative for Handcrafted Wine and Spirits in Kansas City. In 2011, he moved into a sales and logistics role for Okoboji Wines in Iowa City, Iowa, which handles sales and distribution of domestic and international wines throughout the Midwest.
