Edrington Donates $10,000 to Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation

October 18, 2017 (New York, NY)Edrington, has generously donated $10,000 to the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation, Ltd. which grants women in the alcohol beverage industry with scholarships and awards for the purpose of helping them to advance in their careers in the food, wine, spirits, hospitality, or viticulture industries through education, leadership, and professional development.

“The Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation is key to the support of our mission of empowering and advancing women in the alcohol beverage industry,” said Founder & President, Women of the Vine & Spirits Deborah Brenner. “We are so thankful for Edrington’s incredible gift and generosity, not only as a Corporate Member to support the alliance but now as a donor to the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation. It means so much to me and to all the women in the industry.”

The Foundation’s scholarships are divided into two categories: the Professional & Leadership Development Scholarship awards recipients with attendance at the Women of the Vine & Spirits Global Symposium including lodging for the duration of the symposium, and transportation; the Educational Scholarship awards recipients with funds to assist with their tuition, course materials, lodging, and related educational expenses including the cost of professional advancement courses in the food, wine, hospitality, and/or viticulture industries.
