Napa’s Most Powerful Grape Grower to Double Thompson’s Pledge of $1,000 per Point in Next Three Home Games; Funds Earmarked for the Napa Valley Community Foundation

(Napa Valley, Calif.—October 24, 2017) – Longtime Golden State Warriors fan and vineyard owner Andy Beckstoffer today announced Beckstoffer Vineyards will match Golden State Warriors superstar Klay Thompson’s donation of $1000 per point to North Bay Fire Relief for the next three home games. Beckstoffer’s matching donation will be $1,000 per point, with a $50,000 minimum donation to the Napa Valley Community Foundation.

Of the donation, Andy Beckstoffer stated, “our vineyards and our company has been fortunate to have sustained no major damages due to the North Bay wildfires. However, we know that many members of our community and local businesses have been less lucky.”

Terence Mulligan, president of Napa Valley Community Foundation commented, “We are tremendously grateful to Beckstoffer Vineyards for their generous contribution to our Disaster Relief Fund’s Emergency Financial Assistance program. With Andy’s support, we will be able to help many low-income workers in agriculture and hospitality overcome the financial hardships they have encountered as a result of the devastating fires in Napa Valley.”

Andy Beckstoffer will be at the Warriors’ games cheering Klay Thompson on.
