Sonoma, California – JUNE 8, 2015: The Napa | Sonoma chapter of Women for WineSense (WWS) will hold its annual networking event, “Bubbles, Brix and Buzz,” on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at Ram’s Gate Winery, 28700 Arnold Drive, in Sonoma. In addition to enjoying the winery’s stellar wines and passed canapés, guests will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge through three premium breakout sessions, a $75 value at no additional charge.
ABOUT THE EVENT: With bubbles in hand, guests may hobnob with the wittiest, brightest, cleverest and funniest in the world― members and friends of Women for WineSense! Enjoy the stellar views of the wetlands and San Pablo Bay from the gateway of Northern California’s Carneros wine country. Even if you’re not a member, this is a unique opportunity to get to know members of the trade and aficionados alike. Bring friends. Make friends. Exchange business cards with other colleagues in the wine and hospitality industries.
Supplementing the evening’s activities, guests may choose from these premium experiences: Palate Challenge, Single Vineyard Tasting or Barrel Tasting & Winery Tour. During these breakout sessions guests may participate in a casual blind tasting competition or test their olfactory skills at sensory stations. A “behind-the-vines” session introduces guests to Ram’s Gate’s single vineyard designates, learning how terroir impacts the wine. Or, choose to sample the future via a guided barrel tasting and private winery tour, all included with the event ticket.

ABOUT THE WINERY: The Howard Backen-designed Ram’s Gate Winery, located at the entrance to Sonoma Valley, is a modern interpretation of the weathered farmsteads of Carneros. With stunning views, the winery provides a beautiful backdrop to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and sip elegant wines by winemaker Jeff Gaffner.
