Conegliano Valdobbialdene at Vinexpo in Bordeaux

The Producers Consortium for Prosecco Superiore will present the denomination on a stand that reveals the characteristics of the D.O.C.G. zone and of its producers.

Prosecco SuperioreA fundamental port of call will be that at Vinexpo, the important fair taking place in Bordeaux 2015 from 14th to 18th June 2015. North America, Europe and Asia: the international tour of the Producers’Consortium for Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore continues. In the current period, the Consortium is involved in a series of events, seminars and other high level meetings promoting this D.O.C.G. sparkling wine, which in 2014 reached a value of sales to the final consumer of 515 million Euros.

On this occasion, the Consortium’s stand will contain a tasting area, manned by a sommelier, where visitors will be able to choose the wines they wish to sample and obtain all the information they desire about the Denomination, its singular features and its characteristic aspects. Tutoring tastings during the fair will be two leading journalists: Raoul Salama, Editor of “Revue du Vin de France”, and Bernard Burtschy of the French daily newspaper “Le Figaro”. There will also be a chance to taste the wines matched with typical dishes of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, interpreted by an Italian chef from the zone itself, Mr. Marco Toffolin, from the restaurant“Locanda da Lino” di Solighetto Pieve di Soligo (TV).

Bellenda, Bortolomiol, Frassinelli, La Farra, La Tordera, Progettidivini, Sorelle Bronca, Spagnol Col del Sas, Val d’ Oca and Valdo: ten companies from the Denomination will take part in this fair with the brightest labels, perfect calling cards for Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore. The appointment in Bordeaux follows shortly after the roadshow organized in Canada in conjunction with the Valpolicella Consortium, and will precede another series of events abroad, including seminars in Munich and Edinburgh as well as ProWein China, which will take place in November in Shanghai.
