Pride and tradition take center stage along with mariachis, delectable food and award-winning wine.
NAPA, Calif. (April 11, 2016)—The Herrera Family, owners of Mi Sueño Winery, will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a food and wine pairing fiesta, and they are inviting family and friends to join them. Mi Sueño Wine Club members and the general public are invited to attend a wonderful afternoon of live mariachi music and selected wine pairings of the highly touted Mi Sueño wines of Rolando Herrera with authentic Mexican cuisine.
“We hope to share my family’s dream with good friends, while enjoying music, delicious food and great wine,” explained Herrera. “Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day, but it celebrates a great victory for the under-manned Mexican army over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. This date is about Mexican history and pride. In true Mexican tradition, our celebration will focus on our pride for our culture and what we have accomplished as a family.”
The Mi Sueño Cinco de Mayo Celebration will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Mi Sueño Winery located at 910 Enterprise Way, Suite M, Napa, CA 94558. Seating is limited.
