King Malbec(LOS ANGELES, CA) 2016 – Guarachi Wine Partners is launching King Malbec, a fresh brand of Argentine Malbec catered towards millennials.  Inspired by its roots in the heart of Mendoza, King Malbec playfully dubs itself the “almighty sovereign of the vines” through its unique packaging and feel.  The new brand is set to roll out nationwide through May 2016.

King Malbec’s packaging features royal caricatures that honor Mendoza, known as the “kingdom” of Malbec.  Its message, “The Magnificent One,” encourages one to be a leader and influencer like the King.  The wine consists of 100% Malbec – deeply red with violet hues and aromas of ripe red fruits, cassis and pepper.  It is sweet on the palate with friendly tannins and spicy flavors.  SRP $12.

Created by renowned Argentine winery, Bodega Norton, King Malbec signifies the winery’s aim to widen their loyal following across all demographics.  Crafted by distinguished winemaker Jorge Riccitelli, Bodega Norton has established their reputation as the “Masters of Malbec” through their exceptional wine portfolio at appealing price points.

“King Malbec represents the new generation of wine drinkers,” said Jorge Riccitelli, Chief Winemaker.  “We wanted to create something unique and fun, but with the same exceptional quality of wine at an appealing price.”
