Sebastopol, California, January 10, 2017 – Dutton-Goldfield Winery is excited to host a tantalizing tasting of wine and aphrodisiac foods on Saturday, February 11, with celebrated author and Master of Gastronomy, Amy Reiley. This tasting seminar will pair Dutton-Goldfield’s limited production single vineyard wines with aphrodisiac bites of foods, and teach guests the ins and outs of the pairings and how they can enhance their love life. Following the seminar, guests will convene to our cozy tasting room for a private wine reception. Seats are limited to twenty couples and include an autographed copy of Amy’s books “Fork Me, Spoon Me: the sensual cookbook” and her latest book “Romancing the Stove: the unabridged guide to aphrodisiac foods”.  Tickets are $130 per couple for wine club members, or $175 per couple for non-members, and are available by emailing drew@duttongoldfield.com or calling 707.861.9120.

Amy Reiley has combined culinary education with a lifelong ardor for all things food. In August 2004, Amy became the second American to earn a Master of Arts in Gastronomy awarded by Le Cordon Bleu. In 2006, Amy released her first book, Fork Me, Spoon Me: the sensual cookbook, cementing her role as America’s leading aphrodisiac food authority. Through her company, Life of Reiley, Amy has found many avenues to promote her aphrodisiac knowledge and unique take on life’s “consuming passions.” The Eat Something Sexy website and Amy’s monthly e-newsletter, Amy Reiley’s Aphrodisiac of the Month, are considered the online authorities on aphrodisiac food history and science. She speaks and consults on the topic and has appeared on The Today Show, CBS Early Show, Nightline and even Playboy TV, and has written on food and wine in publications including Variety, Sunset, Daily Candy, Los Angeles and Las Vegas magazines.

Chef Larry Willis of The Gables Wine Country Inn will be bringing Amy’s recipes to life for this special event, utilizing his many years expertise in pairing wine with food. Nestled on 3½ acres in the center of Sonoma County, The Gables Wine Country Inn is an elegantly restored 1887 Gothic Victorian premier luxury inn offering a relaxed country experience, large guest rooms, and an exceptional breakfast experience. Guests staying at The Gables Inn on Valentine’s Weekend will receive a complimentary bottle of Sonoma County sparkling wine, a red rose and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Dutton-Goldfield Winery is the partnership of grape grower Steve Dutton and winemaker Dan Goldfield. The winery began in 1998 when longtime colleagues and friends Steve and Dan recognized a shared vision between them—to craft wines that express the personalities of their vineyards, and which they’d enjoy drinking at their own dinner tables. Our mission is to produce world-class wines that display the brightness of fruit, complexity, structure and balance that are reflective of our cool coastal home.
