Oakland, California, April 20th, 2017 The Oakland Wine Festival will be in the spotlight this Sunday as Founder, Melody Fuller, will host a live tasting on KTVU FOX, showcasing the Wines of South Africa and South African wines being featured in this month’s Kick-Off Tasting and Soiree event.  Wines from Founding Sponsor, Silverado Vineyards will also be featured during this lively segment of beautiful wines and wine education. Tune into KTVU FOX at 9:45am to get a glimpse into what is in store for this year’s festival.

For the third year, The Oakland Wine Festival is hosting a seated tasting, Soiree and Silent Auction presenting the wines of a featured International Wine Region. 

The featured Wines of South Africa are the premium wines from Ken Forrester Vineyards, and the special Western Cape varietals: Syrah, Cinsault and Cabernet Sauvignon from The Three Foxes.

Guests to the tasting and Soiree will also enjoy fine and exciting wines from South Africa to include:
