Final Week to Register for 2017 CAWG Summer Conference in Napa July 17-18

SACRAMENTO, July 10, 2017 – The 2017 California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG) Summer Conference is set for July 17-18 at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa. Highlights of the conference include a golf tournament, presentation of the 2017 CAWG Awards of Excellence and an educational speaker program.

The conference is open to CAWG members and non-members and is approved for 3.5 hours of professional development continuing education units. The deadline to register for all or part of the event is July 14.

The CAWG PAC golf tournament will be held on July 17 at the Silverado Resort. That evening, recipients of the CAWG Grower of the Year Award, Bradford and Randall Lange, and CAWG Leader of the Year Award, Al Scheid, will be honored. During the speaker program on July 18, attendees will hear from experts who will provide timely insight and analysis on current issues affecting the winegrape industry.

“This year’s conference features a great lineup of speakers, focused on timely topics, in a wonderful Napa location. The conference offers growers and suppliers a great opportunity to learn and network before the start of harvest,” said CAWG President John Aguirre.
