A to Z Wineworks Celebrated as a ‘Best for the World’ B Corporation

B Lab has recognized Oregon’s A to Z Wineworks as a ‘Best Overall’ company in its annual assessment of certified B Corporations. Fewer than 200 companies globally achieved this designation, which is conferred to organizations which meet the highest standards of ethical and sustainable business.

B Corporations are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corporations strive to redefine success in business with the aim of creating shared and durable prosperity. Other notable B Corporations include Patagonia, Seventh Generation, Method Products, and Ben and Jerry’s.

A to Z has been recognized for three years as a ‘Best for the World’ organization in the ‘Best for Community’ category.  In 2017 it is newly celebrated in the ‘Best for Environment’ and ‘Best Overall’ categories.  To be named a ‘Best Overall’ company, A to Z Wineworks scored in the top 10 percent of all B Corporations in B Lab’s third-party certified impact assessment.

2017 has been a milestone year for A to Z Wineworks, which celebrates its 15th year offering wines which capture The Essence of Oregon™.  A to Z has steadily grown to become Oregon’s top-selling wine brand, and was awarded status as Oregon’s first Impact Hot Brand earlier this year, based on 2016 performance.
