New York, NY (October 12, 2017) – In response to several major fires that started burning the night of October 8th in Northern California, affecting thousands of people, including several corporate and individual members of Women of the Vine & Spirits, the organization has set up a Fire Relief Fund to help raise funds to assist in relief efforts for those suffering from the destructive wildfires in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and the surrounding areas.

Donations made to the Women of the Vine & Spirits Fire Relief Fund, through the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation 501(c)(3) are tax deductible and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the following charitable causes. A Charitable Contribution Receipt will be emailed to donors once the donation is processed.

Charitable Causes Where 100% of Funds Raised by Women of the Vine & Spirits Will Be Donated

Red Cross of Northern California – The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need.

United Way of Wine Country – The mission of United Way of the Wine Country is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community through leadership, community engagement and effective investment.

Napa Valley Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund – The Disaster Relief Fund was established in response to the South Napa Earthquake of 2014 and ultimately helped provide services to more than 12,000 earthquake victims, and cash aid to 1,400 of those hardest-hit by the last declared disaster in the region.
