WIN donates ten-thousand dollars to #CAWineStrong
Healdsburg, CA, December 4, 2017 –The Wine Industry Network (WIN) today announced that the 6th Annual North Coast Wine Industry Expo (WIN Expo), held again at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, was another successful gathering of the north coast wine industry to conduct year-end business, attend education workshops, and network with friends and colleagues.
Over 3500 attendees had the opportunity to visit 300+ vendors and capitalize on the expanded #ExpoDeals buying program, which offered one-day special deals from the exhibiting companies. The educational program expanded again this year and featured eight innovative conference sessions, three of which sold- out prior to the show.
“What makes the WIN Expo and Conference special is the quality of our exhibitors, our presenters, and our attendees” said George Christie, President of Wine Industry Network. “When you put that many passionate people in one place, something special happens and it’s the reason that the WIN Expo has become the must-attend wine industry event for the north coast.”
WIN pledged a portion of this year’s event proceeds based on attendance to #CAWineStrong, a support network formed by wine industry leaders to provide immediate assistance and long-term aid to victims of the Northern California wildfires and a check for $10,000 will be presented to the fire relief organization in the coming days.
“We wanted to support those who were hit the hardest in our community through #CAWineStrong,” added George Christie. “The turnout at this year’s event allowed us to make a nice donation and we’re happy to do it.”
