Luxury Pinot House to Unveil 2016 Portfolio in Sonoma & San Diego

SONOMA, CA (March 26, 2018)WALT Wines, a leading luxury Pinot Noir producer, has announced dates for its annual 1,000 Miles of Pinot release parties in both Sonoma in April and San Diego in May. The brand will be releasing its highly anticipated 2016 vintage of single vineyard Pinot Noir wines from appellations stretching from as far north as the Willamette Valley in Oregon, through Anderson Valley, the Sonoma Coast, Carneros, the Santa Lucia Highlands and the Sta. Rita Hills of the Santa Barbara County.

“We are excited to invite our guests to experience 1,000 Miles of Pinot with us at these signature events,” says WALT General Manager, Jeff Zappelli. “This is the only opportunity for our fans to taste through our entire wine portfolio each year in Sonoma and wines from each appellation in San Diego. We are thrilled to host this event annually in Sonoma, and then hit the road and head to another Pinot-loving City each year.”

Vintner Kathryn Walt Hall will be in attendance in both Sonoma and San Diego helping share details about the 2016 vintage alongside acclaimed WALT Winemaker, Megan Gunderson Paredes who will be at the Sonoma event. Additionally, Hall’s New York Times Bestselling book, A Perfect Score: The Art, Soul, and Business of 21st-Century Winery, will be available for purchase and signed by Hall during the event. Hall is the former United States Ambassador to Austria, 1997-2001.
