Paris March 29, 2018 – 24 hours ago, French startup Aveine launched its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to finance the production of its device: the first smart wine aerator. In just 24 hours, the startup has raised $54,656, 182% beyond its goal of $30,000 thanks to 392 backers.
Any wine, perfectly aerated in an instant
The Aveine Smart Wine aerator is one of a kind device, smart because it is able to give the ideal aeration time to any wine, and fast because it aerates the wine instantly as you pour. This enables everyone, experts as well as novices, to experience ideal tasting conditions without waiting.
Connected to its data-rich app, Aveine aerates any wine perfectly in just three steps: place the aerator on the bottle, scan the label of the bottle, and serve.
The app communicates with, and calibrates the aerator instantly once the bottle label is scanned. The patented air chamber adapts the oxygenation of the wine by injecting the right amount of air into the wine.
It is also possible to customize the aeration time according to your preferences, and to each glass, since the wine is aerated as you pour.
An instantly successful international crowdfunding campaign
After 18 months of research and development, the team decided to challenge its aerator via a crowdfunding campaign. The goal? To expand the growing Aveine community and raise $30,000 to finance the production of its first batch of aerators. Within 24 hours, the Smart Wine Aerator fulfilled its goal thanks to 392 backers from 32 countries.
The adventure is just beginning
The Aveine Smart Wine Aerator is available for preorder at a preferential price during the Indiegogo campaign only, which runs through April 29, 2018. Early backers will benefit from up to 60% off retail prices and give the startup the opportunity to consolidate and fund its initial production.
The first deliveries are scheduled for September.
