The winery also expands its consumer experience with new tastings at its Napa Valley estate

Napa, CA, August 15, 2018Luna Vineyards is the latest of a curated selection of wineries to open a tasting room in The Village, a new space bringing together the best of Napa’s Wine Country.  Open 11 am until 7 pm daily, the Luna Vineyards tasting room at The Village offers four unique varietals hand-selected from our Estate and Reserve collection for consumers to taste.

“We here at Luna Vineyards are so honored to be able to share our special wines with new consumers who are frequenting The Village,” said Andre Crisp, President  & CEO of Luna Vineyards.  “We pride ourselves on creating unique and innovative wine tastings to elevate our consumers’ experience and interaction with our wines, and we have done so with new tastings at our winery’s estate.”

Leading with their popular Pinot Grigio Reserve and Sangiovese Classico (both internationally recognized and highly rated by respected publications and reviewers), have shown much success for the winery in The Village and their tastings at the winery. Luna Vineyards recently implemented new, intimate tasting experiences at their Napa Valley estate. This includes an Estate Tasting, a personalized, sit-down tasting featuring a selection of current release Napa Valley and estate-grown wines, and a Private Tour and Tower Tasting, an intimate experience that starts with a welcome glass of wine in the estate vineyard, continues with a tour of the wine cellar, and finishes in the private tower where guests enjoy the view of the vineyard from above while tasting a flight of current releases and reserve wine selections. The winery also has new hours of operation, opening at 9:30 am and closing at 5 pm, ideal for the Tour and Tower tastings which start in the morning.

Shawna Miller, the winemaker at Luna Vineyards, came up with these tasting formats and decided on the varietals and vintage to be showcased. Her winemaking has resulted in a 95 gold rating for Luna’s 2015 Petit Verdot and 2014 Merlot from Decanter in its prestigious 2018 World Wine Awards, all of which can be tasted at the winery and will be featured at the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter from Nov 3-4.
