PASO ROBLES, Calif., Sept. 5, 2018 — Michael Dusi Logistics (“MDL”) announced today the expansion of its senior executive team with the appointment of Owen Schmidt as Chief Operating Officer and Alexandra Lersey as Controller. Mr. Schmidt will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company and Ms. Lersey will have primary responsibility for the finance and accounting functions.

Over Mr. Schmidt’s twenty-year career in transportation and logistics, he has held senior executive positions including Managing Director for Cross Border Trading and Advanced Quality Logistics as well as serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Performance Team Freight Systems. Mr. Schmidt holds a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.
Over her career, Ms. Lersey has held senior accounting positions in the wine, media and aerospace industries including roles with Sextant Wines, REC Solar Corporation, Wyle Laboratories and Twentieth Century Fox. Ms. Lersey holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.
