On October 24, 2018 Sparkling Pointe Vintners Tom and Cynthia Rosicki, joined by Head Winemaker Gilles Martin, attended the 2018 Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships Award Dinner at Merchant Taylor’s Hall in London to accept the Best of Class Award for the 2015 Topaz Impérial Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine.

Only 116 Champagne and Sparkling Wine Submissions from around the world were awarded Gold Medals at what is called the most respected, comprehensive, and rigorous international sparkling wine competition in the world. Once awarded a Gold Medal, wines advance to compete for the prestigious Best in Class Awards.

Sparkling Pointe is the very first producer from New York State to receive this high honor. This is the first time Sparkling Pointe has entered the CSWWC and the first Gold Medal / Best in Class Award.
