MontGras Amongst Top 15 Wine Exporters from Chile with more than 1MM Cases Annually

(LOS ANGELES, CA) December 2018 – Guarachi Wine Partners is excited to welcome Chilean wine leader MontGras as the newest addition to its South American wine portfolio. Guarachi Wine Partners will represent MontGras in the U.S. for all sales, marketing and distribution of their complete portfolio beginning January 2019.

MontGras was founded in 1993 by brothers Eduardo and Hernán Gras. Their goal was to create a world-class wine brand using state-of-the-art technology for a winery with soul and character. MontGras has a well-balanced selection of red, white and rosé varietals that are certified sustainable by Wines of Chile from the country’s best terroirs in the main wine growing regions: Colchagua, Maipo and Leyda. In 2013, Eduardo and Hernán Gras began working hand in hand with Nick Goldschmidt, world renowned wine consultant. His expertise in creating more than 100 wines that have received 90 points and above from the most well established publications such as Wine SpectatorWine Enthusiast and Robert Parker, made him the perfect partner for MontGras’ Ninquén and ANTU red wines.

“MontGras is an incredibly unique brand with so much character and a long history of producing amazing wines,” said Alex Guarachi, CEO and Founder of Guarachi Wine Partners. “Guarachi Wine Partners is pleased to welcome MontGras to the Guarachi family and we look forward to a very successful re-launch of the brand in 2019.”

“Guarachi Wine Partners is a true partner in every aspect possible from marketing to sales,” said Rodrigo Gras, 4th Generation of the Gras family and President of MontGras Winery. “They offer us a complete understanding of the U.S. market and how best to approach it for the best outcomes. We couldn’t be happier to be working with them.”

Since the winery’s inception, they have garnered over 200 awards for their estate grown wines. In addition, the winery has been awarded “Best Chilean Wine Producer” and “Wine Producer of the Year,” in 2002 by IWSC in the UK and in 2016 by Bacchus in Canada, respectively. MontGras joins other leading wine brands from South America in Guarachi’s portfolio including Bodega Norton, Santa Ema and Kaiken. MontGras is the latest addition in a series of recent additions/acquisitions by Guarachi including Baigorri, VIK and Parker Station.
