How did unpredictable weather events affect maturation dynamics? What are the lasting impacts on wine and berry chemistry in the wake of the horrific firestorms?
As the symposium will break down the previous year’s growing season and take an analytical look at the 2017 vintage in Sonoma County, these questions and more will be discussed at the Vintage Report, including:
Rob Davis of Jordan Winery will lead this exciting event with the keynote address. The event will start at 8:30 AM at the Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa on March 7. Throughout the half day event, scientists and practitioners from across the region will be presenting on their analysis of the 2017 growing year, including Thibaut Scholasch, PhD (Fruition Sciences), Mark Greenspan, PhD (Advanced Viticulture), Nicolas Bernard (Vivelys), Byron Kosuge (Byron Kosuge Consulting), Torey Arvik, PhD (Whole Vine Products) and Eric Herve, PhD (ETS Laboratories).
