Next Month’s Saké Fest PDX Offers the Biggest Saké Selection Ever

With many new and unique food pairing opportunities, this year’s Saké Fest PDX attendees are in for a real treat 

PORTLAND, Ore. – May 23, 2018 – More saké will flow than ever before at Saké Fest PDX, taking place on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Oregon Convention Center. With over 180 different samples of saké at this year’s event, the food pairings, offered by 15 local chefs and food purveyors, are practically endless. 

“Saké is a very versatile beverage that goes with practically everything. Expect unusual saké from around the globe, some poured by the brewers themselves.

And with both Asian dishes and other unique foods, such as chocolate and cheese, Saké Fest PDX attendees can try their hand at fun and delicious food pairings,” says Saké Samurai and Saké Fest PDX Spokesman Marcus V. Pakiser.

When: Wednesday, June 27, 2018, 5:30 – 9 PM

Where: Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR 97232

Tickets: All attendees receive a free souvenir tasting glass courtesy of SakéOne. Early Admission: $78 per person in advance online only (only 48 tickets remain). Regular Admission: $58 per person in advance online and a limited number of tickets will be available for $68 at the door. Adults 21+ only with proper ID. No ticketing fees, ever.

Bulk Ticket Purchases: Groups of 8 or more receive an instant $13 discount on each ticket when purchased at the same time.

Saké is a drink made from rice that originated in China approximately 5,000 years ago. It came to Japan around the 3rd century AD where it has been constantly enhanced and refined. Saké, as it is known today, originated at the beginning of the 20th century with the advent of modern brewing and bottling techniques.
